Love is patient
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
1 Corinthians 13: 4-8
No one is perfect. When we trust in our Lord Jesus, we will be transformed by the renewing of our mind, through God’s word, God’s love and by faith.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

All things new
Happy New Year!
We have stepped into a new year. The old has gone and the new has come.
Our Lord God has promised us in his word that he is making all things new.
In the book of revelation, chapter 21 versus five we read these words
Behold, I am making all things new.
When we trust in our Lord Jesus, we can let go of the past and hold on by faith to what is yet to come.

Abide in Christ
Continuing the study of Book 1 John,
John in Chapter 2 verse 24 writes,” Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father. And this is the promise that He made to us – eternal life.”
By abiding in God’s Word – the Bible, and by believing in the Gospel message, we will be blessed with the promise of eternal life.
Believe the gospel message, For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

Abide in Him – continued 1..
Abiding in Jesus Christ,
I’ve been reading the book of 1 John and studying on what it means to abide in Christ.
In chapter 2 of this book, John writes in verse 16, ” For all that is in the world – the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life – is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.”
Whoever does the will of God abides forever.
Wordly and fleshly desires and pride of life do not go along with the will of God.
When we surrender our will to God and believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, He will reveal His will and purpose for our lives.
Whoever does the will of God abides forever.

1 John 2:6 says, “whoever says he abides in Him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.”
A believing Christian should obey God’s commandments and apply it by practically.
